I hardly ever post here anymore (although I still lurk alot) and I know this is late reporting but what the hey.

The show was great even though it started with microphone glitches. John mentioned that he was having a terrible day and was hoping it would get better. Well, I think he got his wish.

The band sounded great and the energy was high. The venue (a beautiful opera house) seemed to be filled and the crowd was great. I had good seats for once - 4th row center. Of course, there was a pit and security was a bit lax so I was really at 7th row.

I don't remember the set list but they played Naked (my personal fav) and added a new intro to it as well. It's not the great drum solo but some electronic music that segues into the song. It's good but I didn't realize that it was the intro to Naked - weird.

I took lots of photos but had limited success. I've posted the best of them at this site:

As for the opening act, Over It, they left me thinking ho-hum. Perhaps because the sound was too loud and the instruments drowned out the lyrics.

I agree, I could barely hear their lyrics unless I plugged my ears.

Thanks for the review Caroline, nice to see you around again. Glad you had a good time at the concert, I'm really pleased you got to hear Naked, you must have been over the moon! ;D

Thanks for the review. The picture you posted on here is brilliant. I love how you incorporated the whole stage and background into the picture....very nice.

Sounds like you had a really good time, and the pictures are pretty amazing. Glad to hear you had fun. :)
