Title: Last Hot Night in America

This was posted elsewhere, but I for one thought this is a big can of worms.

This song.. is very interesting. I can't really decide what I think of it. I really love the verses, and I can tell that John really loves performing it, which isn't something I've heard from him in a while (my opinion anyway).

As I said before, I LOVE the verses but there is something about the chorus' that seems no cohesive with the rest of the song. All in all, this excites me though!

Yay! Thanks for posting the video!!! I couldn't get the audio to work last night so I missed the whole show. I'm having to depend on the audio and video people are posting to hear it all.

I'm so excited for my show on Sunday now! Woot!!

I'm so jealous! They are usually really great with doing Canadian shows, but I unfortunately could not get to any of them, and I was all over the country. Next tour, I'm going! Now that I'm all done college, hopefully nothing will stop me from seeing them again (except maybe money!), haha.

Let me know how the show is Shannon! :)

The song seems okay, but it'll probably take a few listens for me to warm up to it a little more.

What do other people think? I'm not wild about it either. This is the first time I really haven't cared for one of their songs.

I don't like it

Yeah. I'm not loving it either, but the studio version could be a lot better. My opinions change weekly about Goo songs. When I first started listening to them, I couldnt stand the Iris Acoustic, now its the only version I listen to (the one from the soundtrack).

I think it's alright. I do want to hear a studio version of this song though; perhaps it will sound better?

This is exactly how I am. When I first heard Sweetest Lie and As I Am, I didn't care for either one of them, but they're actually my two favorite songs off of SFTROU. This song, right now, isn't doing much for me, but my thoughts on Goo songs change pretty quickly.

This song reminds me of the hold me up or earlier days...but a bad version. This song is bad, but I think it will lead to better music.

Yea it sounds like a song that was cut from HMU or SSCW. Like you said Pon, at least their music is turning back a bit. Actually, it sounds to me like a weird cross between old Goo and new Goo sound.

Yeah, it does have a fused old new sound to it. I think this will lead to some better music too! This song was also written considerably fast compared to the 4 years it usually takes! :) It hasn't been refined with a producer or anything, so it has potential.
