Post by sympathy_0 on Jun 30th, 2011, 11:50pm
The song debuted this week at #37 Adult Pop Songs - already seems to be doing better than some songs off of SFTROU. I love this song, I think its great! Better than most off the album.

Week 2 - #33 (July 7th)*
Week 3 - #28 (July 14th)*
Week 4 - #26 (July 22)*
Week 5 - #22 (July 28 )*
Week 6 - #19 (August 4)*
Week 7 - #18 (August 11)*
Week 8 - #18 (August 18)*

* Indicates songs with the greatest airplay and sales

Thanks for posting the charts. I always forget to check. I really hope this song does well. I'd love for them to have another top 10.

Me too! I really love the song like I said, I think it has the ability to do very well.

Was Notbroken a Top 10? I think Home was, right? The only one that broke the streak was Real...which is lame because I don't think it was officially released as a single.

I don't think Notbroken was.. But I may be wrong. I just checked the billboard chart history of theirs and couldn't find anything.

And Real was just bad, so its all good. :)

I don't think Notbroken even got into the top 20 which is a shame because it really is a great song. I'm sure it was a victim of timing. Wasn't it released before all the radio stations started playing Christmas music?

I think you are right, I think it was released in mid-late November. For some reason Nov. 21st is sticking out in my head, but that could have been something else haha.

Yea especially when it flew up the iTunes charts with no promotion that's a real shame it didn't hit Top 10. It's the first song of theirs in a long time that didn't (besides Real) and is better than some that did.

It is true! As Shannon said, it was a victum of bad timing.

On Billboards "Top 40 Adult Pop Songs" countdown (of all time), the Goo's had two songs placed:

Iris - #31
Slide - #18

Pretty Good! I was surprised at some of the songs on it - heres the full list.

Slide placed higher than Iris? Wow. That's surprising considering it seems that Iris is their biggest song to casual fans. I personally prefer Slide. :)

I'm actually very surprised with some of the songs that placed higher.

I'm also surprised that the Goo's song Hey Jealousy didn't even place.

I know I'm probably missing the joke here. I was going to correct you, but I figured it was some inside joke I didn't get.

It's just that most lyrics or tabs sites you go to will list Hey Jealousy by Gin Blossoms, I'll Be by Edwin McCain, and a handful of others as Goo songs.

Yeah, come to think of it, when I used Morpheus back in the day (totally don't anymore... I buy all of my music) I downloaded a few Goo songs before I was a hardcore fan and I'll Be was shown as their song. The first time I played it, I was like, "This is NOT the Goo Goo Dolls."

The song has moved up to #28 in "Adult Pop Songs." It's climbing at a decent pace, I feel like there is going to be a big jump some point though. Hope this one's another top 10! :)

It's moving up the charts yet my once awesome Goo station still won't play it. Grrrr! Time for them to get with the program.

They won't play it, or they don't have it? Either is very bizzaro!

They're currently telling us that they'll only play their hits. Well it will never be a hit if they don't play it. Duh! This used to be the BEST Goo station in town. They always played their new stuff as soon as it was released. Now it seems it has to be a hit before they'll play it. It's maddening.

Well that is quite stupid to be honest! It's weird that stations do that. Don't they have some sort of request show? Give me their email address, and I will request it! :)

You totally rock!!!

This is the station http://www.963wdvd.com/ It looks like you email the DJ at the time you're requesting. I tried to find the email for the PD but couldn't. Blaine & Allyson are the morning show. I'd hit them up first to be honest. Blaine especially is the one giving us crap.

Ah! Shannon - There is a sortof form where you can request songs and send in what you want to hear (I did it!) and then I saw right above the form that I had filled in something that said:

MUSIC ADVISORY PANEL
"All That You Are - Goo Goo Dolls"

And you could vote on if you Love it, Like it, It's OK, Dislike, Hate, or Unfarmiliar. These were the results thus far:

Love - 38%
Like - 30%
OK - 10%
Dislike - 3%
Hate - 8%
Unfarmiliar - 13%

Obviously I voted for Love. Maybe this means they will play it now? :)
