What a great show last night. I had a pair of 4th row tickets that I'd won from AG's contest to pick up at will call. Thanks everyone at AG! When I got there they were not 4th row. They were 10th .. without the pit. After a call to my contact person, I went back to the box office and they upgraded me to ... get this ... front row orchestra pit!!!!! Of course Terri was my plus 1. And just when I was finally able to pay her back for all the meet & greets she's gotten me over the years, she goes and wins another m&g. LOL This time she didn't actually win it. She awesomely bid on it in a charity auction for Make A Wish through our local radio station. So we end up with front row AND meet & greet passes. It just doesn't get any better than that.

There were tons of people in the meet & greet. I truly don't know how the guys do that every night. Kudos to them. All went well. I shook their hands. I just can't bring myself to hug them. It's a boundary issue with me. I feel like I'm crossing a boundary hugging them when I don't really know them. That's just me though. Terri chatted with John and Robby while I chatted a bit with Mike. It was maybe 90 seconds. We were all talking in our first picture ... I was laughing. So John asked for another photo. Luckily that one turned out great. My best m&g photo yet. I'll post the picture if Terri's okay with it.

The show was great. The guys were happy and energetic. Lots of smiles and laughing. I gotta say as someone who is barely 5' tall it was so nice to have an unobstructed view. The setlist was the same as it's been. They did play As I am and Can't Let it Go ... which was my favorite off of LLI. I'm so happy that's in the setlist.

I got a chance to meet J and D. Ladies it was great meeting you. J I know we'll talk lots more. OH ... and after 10+ years of talking to Raven I FINALLY met her. Raven it was great meeting you and your lovely family finally. Good luck with all those weddings.

I took tons of pictures so when I get a free moment I'll try to get some of them up.

Yay! I'm so happy you had a great night and got to be right in the front for it. That should totally make up for your view for your last show. :D Lovely pictures as always.

I've heard a couple times about people not getting the tickets they bought when they went to pick them up (NOT from AG contests, mostly from IM presales) and in some of those instances, they complain (rightfully so) and get moved to front row. That's AWESOME, but it always makes me wonder where those front row seats came from. Do they just keep a couple pairs until the end in case they need to rectify a mistake. It just confuses me and now I am rambling.

(Congrats on getting to pay back Terri, magical winner of everything. And more congrats on the adorable M&G photo. How many are you up to? Like 15? :D)

Thanks Michael & Nicole. Last night's show definitely made up for being in the last row at DTE.

I have no idea how many m&g's I'm up to now. I've lost count...lol Maybe 5-6. I'm not sure. 2 I got on my own. The rest are all because of the awesomeness of Terri's Goo luck. Although last night's m&g was because Terri bid on them for Make-A-Wish.

That's a very good question about the tickets. The other AG winner had the same problem and was upgraded as well. Only her seats were 2nd row behind the pit so not quite as good as mine. I felt bad.

Oh Lauren. You should've asked. You could've ridden with us.

I actually didn't even plan on going to this show. Didn't even buy tickets. It was the middle of the week which is usually busy with my kids. But when I saw the AG contest I thought what the hell. I guess it was meant to be.

All I can add was - it was AWESOME!!! I swear, I was so close at times I felt uncomfortable staring at John- that didn't last long. When we got "escorted" to the front row, I had to turn around and give a little :rockin: to everyone behind us.

There was someone standing next to me (not Shannon) who really shouldn't have had such good seats. I am not sure she even knew who the band was because she just kinda stood there. But, it could have been a mom with her kid.

Lauren- you should have said something because I also had 2 tickets from the auction that I didn't use because we used Shannon tickets & my M&G. It would have been a blast- we could have counted your "zeds".

They are also naming drinks in the lobby by their songs- Long Way Down- Margaretta. Dizzy- Long Island Ice Tea, Iris - was a White or Black Russian. There was one more for Black Ballon that I can't remember because I was drinking the Tripper special- vodka tonic! ;)

And I have to say, I am liking the new songs much better that I did. It was a great night- thanks Shannon.
