Title: SFTROU debuts at #7 on Billboard top 200!

Rock band Disturbed claims its fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, as "Asylum" debuts atop the list with 179,000 sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

It's the act's fourth consecutive studio set to debut at No. 1, a feat achieved by only two other rock bands in the history of the chart: Metallica and Dave Matthews Band.

Disturbed Takes Nothing For Granted on 'Asylum' Album

Disturbed's last release, 2008's "Indestructible," arrived in the penthouse with 253,000 copies sold. The group previously debuted at No. 1 with 2005's "Ten Thousand Fists" and 2002's "Believe." Their first studio set, "The Sickness," peaked at No. 29 in 2000, while 2004 live effort "Music as a Weapon II" (with Chevelle, Taproot and Unloco) peaked at No. 148.

Disturbed's newest is one of five albums that debut in the top 10 this week. It's followed by the "Now 35" compilation, which starts at No. 2 with 105,000.

Eminem's "Recovery" holds at No. 3 with 93,000 (down 6%). Last week's No. 1, Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," slips to No. 4 with 88,000 (down 54%). Perry does, however, retain the No. 1 rank on the Digital Songs chart with that album's title tune, selling 221,000 (down 15%).

Fantasia's "Back To Me" drops three slots to No. 5 in its second week on the Billboard 200, with 40,000 (down 66%), while Lyfe Jennings' "I Still Believe" enters at No. 6 with 36,000. The latter R&B singer's last effort, 2008's "Lyfe Change," debuted and peaked at No. 4 with 80,000 in its first week.

The Goo Goo Dolls returns with its first studio album in a little over four years, as "Something For the Rest Of Us" enters at No. 7 with 34,000. The rock trio's last studio set, 2006's "Let Love In," opened and peaked at No. 9 with 83,000.

Justin Bieber's "My World 2.0" moves down one slot to No. 8 with 31,000 (up 7%), while the "Camp Rock 2: the Final Jam" soundtrack flies up the list 13 rungs to No. 9 with 28,000 (up 58%) in the wake of the movie's premiere on Disney Channel last week.

Closing out the top 10 is the return of rock band Heart, which snags its first top 10 set in 20 years with "Red Velvet Car" starting at No. 10 with 27,000. The new one is the group's first studio effort since 2004's "Jupiter's Darling" reached No. 94. The band last visited the top 10 with 1990's "Brigade," which peaked at No. 3.

Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Sept. 5) totaled 5.22 million units, up 2% compared to the sum last week (5.13 million) and down 17% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (6.30 million). Year to date album sales stand at 200.6 million, down 12% compared to the same total at this point last year (229.0 million).

Digital track sales this past week totaled 19.44 million downloads, down 2% compared to last week (19.88 million) and down 4% stacked next to the comparable week of 2009 (20.22 million). Year to date track sales are at 781.8 million, down 1% compared to the same total at this point last year (787.6 million).

Next week, it's looking like Sara Bareilles' sophomore album, "Kaleidoscope Heart," will be the Billboard 200 chart's highest new entry. Industry prognosticators are suggesting that the new set could possibly sell around 90,000 to 100,000 by week's end on Sept. 12.

A No. 1 debut for Bareilles is likely, but she'll have to contend with the second week of Disturbed's "Asylum," along with the still-consistently-selling "Recovery" from Eminem. Bareilles first set, "Little Voice," peaked at No. 7 in 2008.

Other albums looking for high debuts next week include Stone Sour's "Audio Secrecy," Anberlin's "Dark is The Way. Light Is a Place" and Interpol's self-titled set.

not bad, but that's a big drop from Let Let in. Then again, ppl download more??? Doesn't matter because the goo's are still relevant and I think they will sell more. "Home" is a good song, but kind of weak compared to better songs on the album. Not Broken is way more radio friendly.

Yes. LLI came in a lower number, but sold almost 3 times as much.
