The Mountain Laurel Center was packed on Wednesday night. All ages were accounted for, from young children to 80. It showed that no doubt, the area loves a good show.

There were two opening acts for this show. Colbie Caillat was the first act, a 22-year-old California singer with a debut album, "Coco" that is one of the most downloaded recordings on I-Tunes.

Next was the group, Lifehouse, who entertained their large entourage of fans with hit songs such as "Hanging by a Moment," "You and Me" and their new hit, "First Time" that rocked the audience. Lifehouse is singer Jason Wade, drummer Rick Woolstenhulme and bassist Bryce Soderberg. They have toured with the Goo Goo Dolls since early this year and will continue with them until Aug. 4. They will then do a short tour with Hilary Duff until Aug. 23 and rejoin the Goo Goo Dolls until the end of the tour in early September.

Shortly after Lifehouse left the stage, it was time for the main act to get going and they did not keep their fans waiting too long. The group, formed in 1986, includes John Rzeznik on vocals and guitar, Robby Takac on bass and vocals and Mike Malinin on drums. Rzeznik and Takac are the original founding members and Malinin became came aboard in 1998.

They made the audience scream with songs such as "Let Love In," "Better Days," "Stay with You," and the theme song to the hit movie, Transformers, "Sam and Mikaela's Theme, Before Its Too Late."

People came from all over the area and New Jersey for this show. Amanda Drewes of Maplewood, N.J., said, "I love the Goo Goo Dolls. The venue here is smaller than any in New Jersey and no matter where you sit, you have good seats. I love visiting the Poconos, too."

Her friend, Kim Meyer of Hackettstown, N.J., agreed. "Mountain Laurel Center is nicer than the venues in New Jersey and it isn't as far for me as PNC is in Holmdel," Meyer said.

Rzeznik interacted with fans. A 10-year-old standing near the stage, one of a number of younger children at the show, held up a sign that said that this was her first concert ever and asked for the band to sign the poster. Rzeznik took the sign and made jokes with the child, telling her to ask her mother for 20 bucks and then he would sign it. After a few laughs, they signed it.

Tickets sales seemed strong as arena seating was filled and there were plenty of people on the lawn for a beautiful evening. All the acts started on time, a rarity for concerts.

USA Harvest, backed by the Goo Goo Dolls, was outside the venue near the entrance collecting cans of food and non-perishable items for eastern Poconos area food banks. One worker said early in the evening the response for USA Harvest was great. Any food collected would be distributed to the Bushkill area to those in need.

i'm shocked they wrote in the paper that it was "packed," seeing as half the lawn was empty... but it was the most packed it ever has been. sadly the venue never took off when they built it a few years ago.

at any rate, i had an awesome time, and i realized i'm a much bigger fan than i thought.

i was wondering if there is a goo goo dolls set list tracker somewhere online. i couldn't find one in my googling. I'm trying to find the set list from this show, so if anyone knows of where i can find it or knows the set list themselves, please reply.

The Majority of the setlists are the same.
There have been some other reviews for other shows, you could check those out and look at that setlist to see if it was the same or similar.
