The Killers, Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol For V Festival

If you like your festivals to be comfortable, sensible and sponsored by a multimedia, music, TV, mobile phone, transport and soft drink brand, then this is the news for yous.

The line-up for this year�s twin-day, twin-date V Festival has just been announced, with The Killers topping the bill on one night and Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol 'sharing' the headline slot for the other night.

Other bands confirmed to be playing are Kasabian, Pink, James, Basement Jaxx, The Kooks, Amy Winehouse, Manic Street Preachers, The Fratellis, Primal Scream, Damien Rice, Babyshambles, Happy Mondays, Paolo Nutini, Editors, KT Tunstall, Mika, James Morrison, Sophie Ellis Bollocks, The Fray, The Proclaimers and The Goo Goo Dolls.

More acts are expected to be announced over the coming weeks.

V Festival takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire, on Saturday August 18 and Sunday August 19.

Tickets will be going on sale at 9am this coming Thursday March 1 priced at �130 for two days plus camping, �110 for two days no camping, or �63.50 for single day tickets.

Har, i got my ticket tuesday because my friend is on Virgin Mobile! ;) hahahaha!!!

I cant waaaaaaaaait, and hopefully doing festivals over here will mean they get a bit more popularity here too, tbh it's kinda low at the moment. :(
