CBGB is an underground rock club in NYC. The Goos used to play there. CBGB stands for Country Bluegrass Blues. Here's the link if you want to check out the site. The t-shirts have become a huge fad. Many celebrities have been seen wearing them now.

I'm pretty sure they're made by Triple Five Soul. They like to use that eagle symbol and stars on a lot of their clothes...but I'm not positive. Haha they just screamed 555 Soul to me as soon as I saw them. He wears them all the time now.

Lol! And I love anyone who is also basking in the ray of sunshine that is John's pants. They really are pretty magnificent. I am surprised that i'm not the only one who thought so.  ;D

I was in a Creative Writing class and my teacher said we had to write sonnets, and I just happened to be wearing my JOHN PANTS t-shirt. Of course, his pants filled me with inspiration. This had my whole class wondering about the 8th wonder of the world that is JOHN PANTS, so I got in front of the class and regaled in detail some highlights from the Live In Buffalo DVD. It was at that moment that John's Pants became our class mascot.

Yes, my resolution is to get a pair of his pants. My plan is to follow them on their next tour (with my LJ friend Vanessa, and anyone from this board if they too feel inclined to join us) and bring a different sign each time, being sure to always be in the front.

Sign One: JOHN CAN I HAVE A PAIR OF YOUR PANTS?
(simple enough)

Sign Two: JOHN MAY I PLEASE HAVE A PAIR OF YOUR PANTS?

Sign Three: NINJAS STOLE MY PANTS MAY I HAVE A PAIR OF YOURS?

I don't know if I'm amused or terrified by this thread...  ;)

I never knew there were so many admirers of pants.

But one thing I'd like to point out - if you somehow manage to convince John to give you a pair of his pants, he really will only ever wear one pair for an entire tour (with the amount of money he has, you'd think he'd own more than two pairs of pants!)

Also, you don't need to register on the forum. As far as I know you can just click "Enter My Forum," then click post. All you need to do is enter your name. You need a graphics program to resize pictures. Like PSP or something. Or else you could just post the link to the pic...

I love this thread...

I was at the show with SupaGoo when she took that pic. It was hysterical, all the girls in the audience "swooned" when John turned his back to the audience and bent over.

Also, I love when our British (or is it Aussie?) goo-friends use "trousers" instead on "pants. You hardly ever hear someone say "trousers" in the US...LOL...

You HAVE to get a pic of John in the tight jeans with all the patches on them that he wore in the Big Machine video for Buffy the Vampire Slayer to add to the Pants Collection.
