Hey everyone :)

Well, we've just learned that Give A Little Bit has been sent to UK radio AND tv this week!! :woohoo:

We're trying to get together as much info as possible to start requesting the track over here and we'd be extremely grateful for all your help in gathering / requesting.

Apparently it's definitely gone to regional radio, is going (if it hasn't already) to national, and the video has also been sent to tv. We've found a website www.radio-now.co.uk that has info for all radio stations in the UK and we were thinking MTV, VH1, Q and Magic would be a good start for tv requesting. What do you all think - will you be able to help us?

For once we've all got a chance to try and show the UK what they're missing - it would be so amazing if we could prove all the doubters wrong and show them that Goo fans are a force to be reckoned with!

As for showing the UK what they're missing...yeah, big time! It really annoys me because I KNOW the Goos could be HUGE here! Never mind, we have to do what we can. Let the campaign begin! ;D

Lol!!! How about "bees to a honeypot"?!!! Far more flattering ;)

Do you reckon we can pull this off? It's gotta be worth a try hasn't it?! If only we ran the radio stations / tv stations the music industry would be in a much better state :P

Glad to hear GALB is going to the UK! Here in USA we've been dogging the VH1 message board with votes for "Give A Little Bit". So far we've been able to keep it on the top 20 video list for VH1. I wish all the goo fans lots of luck spreading the good news of Goo!

YaY!!! I'm in. It'd be so good to have a Goo hit in the UK. I've heard them play GALB on Virgin Radio, so it's definately out there.

Claire - OMG - you are right!!!!!! "Give A Little Bit" is on Virgin radio's playlist!!!!!!!!! :faint: :woohoo:

Not only that, but we can vote for it on Ben Jones' Most Wanted countdown!!! UK'ers - we really need to start another thread for this over the weekend and try and get as many people to help us vote as possible and hit all at once for Monday's show. Who knows, we might even get them into the chart and wouldn't that be one in the eye for all the doubters!!!!

You choose the tunes for a whole hour on the Virgin Radio Most Wanted chart. It's part of our evening show with Ben Jones. Catch him playing some of today's best new music between 7.00pm and 10.00pm every weekday.

Also occurred to me to enlist the help of family and friends. I just got my MUM to vote for the Goos! Haha. Even though she was a bit bewildered by the whole thing she still did it. Rock on mum! LMAO

Well it seems Most Wanted is on every week night except Friday night when Suggs is on lol!

Wow Lea, you've got off to a cracking start there - we've taken a leaf out of your book and got our family to vote too ;D Have also started another separate thread about voting in the hope that it will help. It's really exciting isn't it?!
