Yes, I'm an admitted Nirvana fan. Anyhow, I just got the new box set and watched the DVD last night. There's a scene on it where the band is hanging out on the sidewalk at a punk club in Iowa City, and guess what's behind them? A Goo Goo Dolls sign! Thought it was cool to see in Goo in such an unexpected place.

There is this really annoying kid who disses the goos, but he loves Nirvana, and though I dont dislike Nirvana or anything like that (I just dislike the kid), I think it will be funny to tell him that.

well...the goo's used to play in all sorts of weird punk clubs like cbgb and so did nirvana. so it doesnt really surprise me...

This means I'm going to have to buy it but it is 45.00 dollars at walmart and I only have 15.00 dollars which I'm saving for a concert(goo of course)

Ya, reminds me of how Bush was talking about creating jobs in the US, but a bunch of boxes behind him say "Made in China"...funny!!

I don't think Nirvana deserves to be considered as one of the best rock bands ever, but they're still a good band. I always recommend their songs when somebody want to learn guitar.

Unless you like Nirvana, I wouldn't! It's just an old poster w/ the old Goo Goo Dolls logo (like the bright orange paint that never fades on the t-shirts) and it's not even on the screen for that long.
