Celebrities rise to challenge, run marathons for motivation
 
At the inaugural PF Chang Rock 'n' Roll marathon in Phoenix in 2003, Mike Malnin of the Goo Goo Dolls stopped to play the drums and entertain fellow runners along the course before finishing in 5:07. His recovery: Performing at the event's post-race concert.

So, you caught him and he's on his way in the mail to me, yes?
 
I have terrible luck seeing penguins.  I was horrified when I learned there are no penguins at the Toronto zoo and when I saw them at the Biodome in Montreal, it was "nighttime' and so dark you couldn't see them. Undecided
 
And Edinburgh as in across the Atlantic or is there some other Edinburgh I don't know about?

Yeah, I was watching some sort of "Nostradamus & friends predict the end of the world" specials, and I usually delete all such things from my memory because I am so paranoid...but I think the point they were making was that the Mayan calendar mysteriously ended with the year 2012 or some such thing. So grab your umbrella, ella, ella...and don't forget to hide under your desk or some other useful lifesaving technique like that.
