Sharing a very special picture with you all.
Let me explain. For some reason I can't really explain I have a class in the conference room of the geology dept at my school. There are cases with rocks and minerals in it, pictures of astronauts (why? I don't know), and this very special piece of artwork. I've been trying to discreetly get a picture for the last 4 weeks, but I can't get in the room without a key and I forget my camera or my camera phone dies. So I took some discreet video yesterday, hence the sucky quality you see.
Anyways, the picture is - a polar bear shaking hands with a penguin on a little ice island in the ocean. The polar bear is wearing boots and the penguin is wearing a scarf. And behind them is a big Japanese sun. It's the most ridiculously awesome thing ever. My very dry 150 year old British professor rambles about biomineralization and I just find myself staring at the painting.
I have an incredible urge to steal it... which is probably almost almost legal, seeing as it's a state school and I helped pay for that piece of artwork, I'm sure.

In many of the articles we've all read lately there's seems to be a sense of defeat from the band about Gutterflower. Now I know most of us here LOVE it. So out of respect and admiration for Gutterflower I give you the new background I just found.
