Assemble More Shows

The Goo Goo Dolls ------ have slipped more dates into a late-2006 tour itinerary that now runs until the end of the year as they continue to back their latest album, "Let Love In."
The outing--which, as previously reported, launches Nov. 4 in Seattle--now includes new November and December stops throughout the Northeast, as well as a New Year's Eve performance at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. Details are shown below.

Earlier this year, the Goo Goo Dolls delivered "Let Love In," the trio's first new album since 2002's "Gutterflower." Founding members Johnny Reznik (vocals/guitar) and Robby Takac (bass) left their adopted hometown of Los Angeles and returned to their native stomping ground of Buffalo, NY, to record the new set.

"I wasn't really feeling any kind of real inspiration in Los Angeles," Rzeznik said in a press release. "I was sitting here just beating my head against the wall trying to write songs and I wasn't feeling inspired at all."
Rzeznik, Takac and drummer Mike Malinin ultimately set up shop in a 100-year-old Masonic Ballroom.

"It was a really beautiful old place," Rzeznik continued. "It felt really good to be back where I grew up. It's sort of that whole getting-back-to-your-roots thing only that sounds so cliche, but there's definitely a different kind of dramatic tension there than in L.A."

"Let Love In" features the cut "Stay With You," which is streaming at the Goo Goo Dolls' MySpace page. The site also features the song's companion music video.
