A "Best Of" Tour of Sorts

I saw the Goos live during Gutterflower and absolutely loved the show but, have always wanted the Goos to do a tour when they're not supporting an album, a tour with a set that would legitimately chronicle their twenty year career as a band. Do you think this could ever happen? It's upsetting that even songs off of A Boy Name Goo are scarcely featured these days, much less anything from SSCW and before. I would love to hear "Just the Way You Are", "Stop the World" and maybe even "Kevin's Song" (that would be insane!). Is this just wishful thinking, or do you think the Goos would ever deliver the Goo(d)s, and maybe even let Robby split vocal duties half and half with Johnny on such a set? Who else here thinks that Hold Me Up is fucking awesome? I'm out!

Yea I think that would be awesome. If they did ever do that it wouldn't be anytime soon I think. And Hold Me Up is a great album. Shannon

I would LOVE for them to do this. They have a loyal enough fan following to be able to pull it off without touring with a new album. Ahhhh....if only......

O yeah! When I saw the guys in concert a few weeks ago I was thinking, "I would've liked to hear some more old stuff." Don't get me wrong it was a GREAT concert, but I would've loved to hear stuff from SSCW and earlier. The only problem is that 20 years is a LONG career, and a LOT of music. There is no way they could play them all, and you would still walk away saying "That was great but I wish they would've played..." You get what I'm saying?

Theyll probably do odd shows here and there not supporting an album (can you say LIB?), but i doubt there do an entire tour like that until the farewell tour. Or something.
