This song was eventually put on Dawsons creek, so i'm not sure if it was written for that series or not but it was on there a couple times, well actually a lot.

I believe it would be safe to say that song was written for "Dizzy Up the Girl", not specifically for the television show "Dawson's Creek". It probably appeared on the show because someone that worked on the production crew/behind the scenes found the song appropriate on more than one occasion. ~ Amanda
