The Goo Boo Bolls

Random story, but it had me laughing.
I was on my way to pick up some Chinese food, and GALB came on the radio. So of course I turned the volume up and belted it out as I drove along.
After the song ended, the DJ said "That was the Goo Boo Bolls with their new single..."
I thought I had imagined it at first, but I chuckled all the same. I went and got the food, and when I got back in the car the DJ said "Okay, I know, I know...I just got about 8 phone calls from angry fans of the GOO GOO DOLLS (he made sure to say it properly) informing me of my blunder. I apologize for the mistake, I know they're the Goo Goo Dolls. I'm a fan of A Boy Named Goo myself..."
I was laughing so hard I couldn't leave the parking lot until the next song came on and I could wipe away my tears.

Perhaps if Mike and Robby had received the memo stating that this was a plaid-pants only affair, it would have spared them this embarassing social faux-pas. Black pants? How declassé.
