The end is so close, I can almost taste it! But I half don't want to!!!
Everyone says she's gonna kill Harry. I realllllly hope she doesn't. And if she touches the Weasleys or Lupin, she's going down.

One of my friends is flying out to California for the premiere of Harry Potter. She also went to the premiere of the first one and had the opportunity to meet some of the actors. She definitely has some good connections.

I've been to Alnwick Castle in Northumberland, England, which is the castle used in the movie.

I can't believe it's here either. I reserved my copy in January; can't wait to get it!

I just re-read the 5th book in time for the movie and now I'm re-reading the 6th just before the 7th.

BTW, this movie looks like it'll be the best of all. I had high hopes for the 4th, but they had to leave so much stuff out I was left wanting a little more. Of course they did a bang-up job with what they did show us :)

I can't wait for the book to come out!  I havne't reserved a copy, I should probably do that.

I just reread the fifth and sixth books.  I saw the movie yesterday at 6:30pm... I won tickets to an early showing of the movie!!  It was an awesome movie, but they cut out a shitload of things from the book and changed around some of the events.  Some important parts from the book were changed when it really didn't need to be.  And the movie doen't go into much detail explaining the things that happened.  However, if you didn't read the book, the movie is really good and has awesome effects!

I think with such massive books, it's important to cut out some stuff. I think the third one did that perfectly. It cut it down to a sleek and entertaining movie.

The books and movies really aren't my favourite things in the world but I keep reading and watching them, just cause they're so damned entertaining. Go figure eh?

I think it will ruin the books if Harry stays alive! Harry and Voldemort both have to die, because if they don't, it won't really put an official end to the books. Because we all know we can't keep Harry alive.. it will keep us holding on.. hhaa.
