You wish you could have written, what would it be?
I'm sure there's prolly loads i could think of, but not off the top of my head just at the mo. Was just curious to see what you's guys thoughts were?

Of course i think Iris would be one of mine, just cause it's a damn right beautiful song, everything about it is. And Gorecki, by Lamb. I think musically and lyrically that song is beautiful. Gives me chills! lol

hmm. . .tough question, i'm gonna have to pick the 2 that come to my mind first: Beautiful Child or Silver Springs written by Stevie Nicks back in her Mac days. . .

Beautiful Child is one of those songs you need to hear live. . .it brought tears to my eyes. . .she has so much power in her words. . . ;D

Sorry that was long, but just wanted to share! lol. I just love songs that move you in someway, y'know really play on your emotions and say everything that your feeling/thinking.

OOOHH!
Mine would definatly be Breathe No More by Evanescence. Its the most haunting, and epic song ive heard. Amazing.

TIME FOR A BREAKDOWN.

"I made my bed and i sleep like a baby, no regrets, and dont mind saying" - The person that wrote her the letter saying she was going to get shot, didnt bother her at all, she kept living because she is entitled to her own opinion.

hate a perfect stranger" - I think this means her mom taught her to hate george bush, or she taught her daughter to hate george bush. Im not quite sure.

shutup and sing or my life will be over" - Thats the obvious. When she said that thing about George bush on CNN, she was wondering how that could push someone to send her a death threat. Its her opinion, shes entitled to it.

The second quote breakdown is about teaching a mother teaching her children to hate the dixie chicks, in my opinion.

I'd have to say that I would love to have written ANY of Ryan Adams songs mostly either Wild Flowers, Avalanche, or Trains. He's Just Awesome.

OR Sarah Slean's wake up because I'm constantly singing that in the mornings.

From their third studio album The Holy Bible. Lyircs written by Richey Edwards, their now missing and presumed dead former lyricist/rhythm guitarist. In my opinion, their best album.

I actually wish I had written the entire album. It's one long work of lyrical genius from the mind of a truely tortured man. When you're suffering from alcoholism, anorexia, depression and extreme urges to self-abuse, you're bound to come up with something good. It's not just his skewed views and obvious mental anguish, but the rage against the human race for the apathy we show to widespread suffering. Songs about the respect shown to mass murderers, the holocaust, it goes on and on. Can you tell I'm a little obsessed? :P

And yeah, James is releasing his own album, as is Nicky. I'm looking forward to both, even if Nicky can't sing worth crap.
