nickelodeon used have great cartoons when i was little.  someone already mentioned David the Knome and then there was the Lil Bits and i can't remember the name of it, but they would tell different fairy tales.  that one was my favorite. . .

and my secret guilty pleasure, H. R. Pufnstuf.  that silly Witchy Poo. . . Grin

Omigosh! When I was younger and my family would vacation in Florida with my grandparents I would watch Gumby in the morning all the time!!

Ahh...Gumby and Pokey!

Did anyone have those rubbery Gumby and Pokey figures  that we used to play with? If you bent their appendages enough times, the metal rod inside used to poke out. I guess we were rough with our toys.

Gumby!! I remember watching that on TV.  I think I still have one of those Gumby toys hanging around somewhere in a box in my basement.

Yeahhhh I had those! But I never made the metal poke through Smiley

GUMBY! And his pony pal Pokey too....that's all I remember of the song. And Gumby skated around on one foot...and he had a friend named Goo and Spike, I think.

In the short Gumby movie I had he skated through a book and got stuck and had to try and get back through to the other side....this same tape had some clip with a guy who had a lawnmower and ended up mowing everything up with it.... I will be VERY surprised if anyone has any idea what I'm talking about.
