Any one else heard of em? Pretty decent band, very bizzarre range of music, really experimental.

VAST is one of my favorites. Smiley Anybody that can incorporate chanting monks into a rock song gets massive props from me, haha. They* are really quite talented... their older stuff is definitely more experimental than the newer stuff though.
 
Bad fan that I am, I haven't been paying much attention to them lately... I should go see what they've been up to. Thanks for the unintentional reminder.

no probs, I just got their new remixed album which is pretty good. Mostly old songs re-recorded.

Ooo, I've heard of Vast!  I can't name any of their songs, but I do remember rather liking their sound.  It refreshing to hear some genres outside of the mainstream now and then . . .
