This was on Twitter. I'm still not entirely sure how twitter works, but it was on the GGDs feed.

GooGooFans@googoodolls will sell an EP called "Waiting for the rest of it" on this summers tour, with a few songs from SFTROU + a bonus songs!

You can see a picture of the artwork on the GGD myspace. (Also, if you click on the picture of the SFTROU album, you are taken to the Jennifer's Body soundtrack on Hot Topic...)

I assume Home will be on it, but I am excited to hear some more studio version. Five more days for me! :D

For fans who can't wait for the full album on 8/31, The Goo Goo Dolls and Warner Brothers Records are releasing a tour exclusive EP called "WAITING FOR THE REST OF IT" to be sold at the upcoming tour dates...

It will contain four songs from the forthcoming album "SOMETHING FOR THE REST OF US" including the album version of the first single HOME, as well as a LIVE version of their hit BROADWAY recorded earlier this year.

I picked this EP up at the show last night. There's one song on it that jumps out and grabs you for it's upbeat melody, beautiful piano and brutally honest lyrics. It's called Still Your Song. I can't even do it justice in explaining it so I'm going to refer you to Steph's blog where she does an amazing job. She sums it up poetically. �

No digital release until 8-10-10. There was an error in the WB press release.

The woman on the blog compared "Still Your Song" to "Real" :/ I hope the song is way better than Real.

Here is what I think of the songs!

Sweetest Lie: LOVE IT! So good! It's SO GF I can't even stand it (in a good way). It's so upbeat and happy, its insane. Love this song!

Still Your Song: LOOOOVE IT! It's also very GF I thought, but I think it's the most new sounding thing from them we have heard in years. It's so great, I love the lyrics - favorite thing I have heard. I hope it is a single, IT NEEDS TO BE.

I have not heard Now I Hear yet! I'M SO EXCITED!
