SO John has recently said that they will be covering some songs for some bsides. I was thinking about this, and I would really like them to do "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac, even though it's overdone. I think John's voice would sound great on that song (it would be even better if he could duet it with Stevie herself.. I've been saying that for years!). It would be cool to see them do something like Journey too.

I would love for them to cover Across the Universe, Mind Games or In My Life by The Beatles/John Lennon...I know these songs have been covered before but I think Johnny could do a great job singing them. John Lennon was such a great songwriter, but Johnny is a much better singer...

It would be interesting to hear Johnny sing something from a musical, although I'm sure that would never happen.

Speaking of which, was Johnny in choir in high school or anything? I've always wondered that.

I think John said something about wanting to cover Catch me now I'm falling or something by the Kinks in an IM video (or if it was written, I don't really remember). So that band may be a candidate?

I just hate it when punk kids be like "hey, the goo goo dolls copied Haste the day". Some even dare to put down the goo's.

Punk Kids are such right fighters it's so annoying. I would say, um no. Haste the Day did a cover from the Goo's I even have proof from a CD from 1995!!! Then again, I can be a right fighter when I want to! But the point is, I agree with you Pon!

I don't like how they've made it faster, I don't really like the .. whatever the growling/snapping noises in the chorus is and the original guitar solo is so much better, but otherwise than that it's pretty good. I haven't heard a lot of GGD covers.
