The banner we have right now is the last from the original contest. So get your graphics skills polished. Next month we will start banner contest #2.

While we're thinking about a new banner, let me ask if you all still like the theme around here? Or should we go for a whole new skin/colors? What do you all think? Also, if you want the skin changed do you have any color preferences? I'd love some suggestions.

I wasn't a member during the first banner contest. How does it work? What are the rules?

There's only a couple of minor rules.

1. It has to be no bigger than 620 X 150 pixels.

2. It has to say WOG on it.

3. It has to match the color scheme (which is why if we want to change the skin color I need to do it now).

In a month I'll ask for submissions and give a due date. There's no rush right now. Just practice and see what you come up with.

Don't submit anything to me yet. I'll let you know when.

WOW! I'm impressed.

Maybe I'll have to move up the date to June 1st. You guys all seem super excited about this.

So is no one in favor of changing the skin/color scheme?

I actually like this background, reminds me of the GF days, and LLI is black and red as well, They're good colours to work with!

Thanks for your input Lauren. I was actually going through some alternate color schemes in my head yesterday but I couldn't come up with anything I like as much as these colors.

I did make a collage in my computer art class, but it's too big and doesn't say WOG. �I could change it, but I'm not sure if it would look good that small.

And I have to make 3-5 more projects for my portfolio and I was planning on doing all Goo collages, but maybe I'll make them as banners so I can submit them here, since I don't have photoshop at home. ;)

I appreciate the offer Forbes. I could do it as well but no one has FTP access. Music Fan Clubs won't answer any of our emails about it. It's been a problem for over 2 years now.

ALSO, I was thinking and we should get more levels of Post rankings if possible :D

No. I can't get a different template. The only way to do that is to update the board but I need access to the main site to do that. Now you see the issue I've been struggling with.

Oooo I may enter this time around, I've been doing a lot of digital artwork recently so this could be fun :D :D

And about the layout, I really like the look of Absolute Goo at the moment...I'm not saying copy it but it looks pretty spiffy.

Absolutely none. Before Eva left she tried to get all the FTP access but they wouldn't answer her. Adela struggled with getting an answer as well. And now me. I've contacted them about as many ways as I can with no answer. Same with Adela. It's been very frustrating.

Have you tried contacting the moderators of other Music Fan Club boards to see if they can get a response?
