GOO GOO DOLLS Hit the Road This Summer - Tour Schedule

BURBANK, CA -- May 10, 2007 -- American rock & roll legends, THE GOO GOO DOLLS, return to the road this month in support of their Gold-certified album, "LET LOVE IN." The band's eighth studio album, produced by Glen Ballard and the band, has already spawned four hit singles to date, including the current single and title track, "Let Love In." As reported in December, The Goo Goo Dolls now hold the record for "Most Top 10 Hits at Hot AC Radio in History," with twelve consecutive tracks at that format.

As previously reported, the deluxe edition of "LET LOVE IN" is in stores and available now. The expanded package now contains a DVD titled, "LIVE AND INTIMATE," with exclusive live performances, music videos and a pair of acoustic versions of tracks from "LET LOVE IN."

The latest news from The Goos is that the band has recorded a brand new, exclusive song for the upcoming "Transformers" film soundtrack, called "Fiction." Details on both the film and the soundtrack to be announced shortly.

Until then, you can catch The Goo Goo Dolls performing live on television twice this June. Tune into the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC stations Friday, June 8. The Goos will perform live on the outdoor stage. On Monday, June 18, The Goos will perform live on the "Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on CBS. Check local listing for details. The Goo Goo Dolls will perform different songs on each show so you won't want to miss these dates.

As always, The Goo Goo Dolls will once again bring USA Harvest out on the road to collect and distribute canned food/goods for families in need in each market along the tour. Containers for food collection can be found near the entrance of the venue each night. Confirmed tour dates are listed below; Lifehouse and Colbie Caillat will support all dates:

Ok, so now, after teasing my husband about wanting to be first in line for the Transformers movie...I will begrudgingly have to join him...just so I can hear the Goo song in the movie.  *shakes head*  

I'm very excited for the song though...and I'm hoping they sing it on the summer tour!!!

LOL!!!  i'll be there 3 days before my wedding...with all those last minute things to do to join my boy in line. i HAVE to hear the new song!  and if he can't do wedding stuff watching the movie, then i'm not either! :redtongue:

I doubt and it's a bad business idea. Very likely that it'll be with the new album...but I thought they were retiring? I guess they couldn't pass up on Transformers? This could be their biggest song and definitely the biggest movie involvement ever.
