It would appear their next single will be a song they wrote for the upcoming Transformers movie (not Spiderman 3).

Hmm...still cool..

But, it does sound interesting to hear they will be going back to the studio after september to make a new record..maybe we'll have a new one by Spring/Summer 2008? Or am I just getting exciting?

OMFG!!! I LOVE TRANSFORMERS!!!! I've been keeping up to date every single day about the movie and I have not heard. They are my second obsession after the good. Somebody above said it's a downgrade. I feel so insulted. Transformers is gonna so big. It's not gonna be as big as spiderman 3 cuz spiderman movies been around a lot longer. WE can't compare Spiderman 3 until we have Transformers 3.

It sounds like the GGD's did a song for transformers and thats its going to be released as a single. The will promote that and let it filter out untill later this summer when the release the 3rd single from "let love in" (without you here). My guess is that the Jay Leno appearane on June 8th is for the new song for the Transformers movie. If this song is getting released as a single like Mr Rzeznik made it sound in the clip then maybe its the lead track.

They're HUGE! My son is obsessed with them.

This is all very exciting. And, I have to admit to being thrilled with the idea of a new single we haven't yet heard.
