This was such an awesome show. My sister, bf, and I woke up to line up around 8 am. We drove by the gates, and there wasnt a single person there. My sister thought I was rediculous, but omg, it was a gen. admin. show! I wanted to be the first in line, so we could get front, row, center!! Well, we left and came back around 10. The weather was gloomy all day but it was supposed to let up later. All of the weather stations were saying it was going to pur all day so we were pretty worried! Another buffalo on our hands??! After being in line for an hour, a girl game up. Then, the event coordinator asked us if we wanted to go inside the field to see the stage set up! So, we did and him and another lady from the school newspaper ( remember this was @ UWG). They were so thrilled that we drove eight hours from tampa and were lined up so early Sponsors were setting up and giving us cookies bc they felt so bad that we were sitting out there for so long! They were very nice and helpful the whole time! When other people started to come to set up for the event, they kpt asking us where we were from. This one guy who was in charge of university opperations or something like that, said since we drove so far we should get to meet the band. Im like..yeah right thats not going to happen..but all day my boyfriend kept asking him if theres anyway we could... We didnt see a single person until 3pm. It was the radio station (102.7 fm) that was sponsoring the event. They heard we drove eight hours for the concert so they told us we could go on the radio! They asked us who our favorite goo goo doll was and of course I said Johnny :). We continued to line up and sit in our chairs. The rain started to come hard and I was sooo afraid it wouldnt stop..but it did! Around 5 or so the same guy who mentioned us meeting the band, came up to us with an envelope! He had 2 meet and greet passes!! Oh my god, my sister and I were freaking out!! We could NOT believe it! We started crying..it was unbelievable!! My sister and I have been listening to the goos for almost 14 yrs. Ever since a boy named goo came out we were hooked forever. This was our dream come true. The music that we bonded with over the years..we were finally going to meet the wonderful, talented people who wrote and performed the music that we were so in love with. We lined up for meet and greet @ 6, but the band was running late. Sound check was supposed to be @ 4, but hadnt gone on yet. We kept looking at the stage and we saw johnny! He was yelling to copeland that he was better than them, it was pretty funny. Then, we finally got ready to meet them. We foudn out we couldnt bring our cameras in to take our own pictures, and that it was going to be a group photo. That was ok, I mean, I wasnt even planning on meeting them so that wasnt a big deal to me! Robby and Mike came down and introduced themselves. Robby was soooo nice!! They shook our hands and of course my sister and I were looking for Johnny, and finally, I got to shake his hand. He didnt talk much, and my sister didnt get to shake his hand. I did tell him about me and my sister being twins and he said he wouldve never known, and I told him we drove 8 hrs to see them! The meet and greet was soooo short. It was kind of sad:( But some blonde lady got a one on one picture with him and was chatting it up with him the whole time. we wanted to kill her..haha. Then came the show! My bf got front row...he bolted in and got an awesome spot. Copeland put on an awesome show and Im actually going to buy their cd soon! Johnny came out and they started off with stay with you. He made a comment that their were a lot of good people in the audience and that that was always a good thing. Robby thought the UWG mascot was a trojan and he was cracking jokes about it. Johnny said magnum and someone threw a condom on stage!!! When he made the buffalo comment b4 they played "we'll be here, when youre gone," my boyfriend and I started singing lets go buff-alo..and johnny did the dun dun dun dun dun on his guitar!! It was great! They played amazing of course. I am not being biasd when I say this, but they are the best live band ever. This is my 3rd show and it was so great. It was so awesome how the people were so nice bc if this was in atlanta, or a big time venue, we would not be able to get to do the things we did! Here is the set this and I WILL post pictures later! oh and btw..the lady who got a one on one picture, also got looks at johny with him performing give a little bit, and she went back to the tent after the show... a new love interest for johnny???

Thanks for your review. I'm so glad you had such a great time at the show. And, how cool that you got spontaneous meet and greets....what luck! :rockin:

What a great review!! I couldn't get there till just before the show started, but still managed to get pretty close. Would have loved to be front row though!! :)
