This one kid was singing this goo goo dolls song and playing the guitar to it. It was a song that I had heard before but I can not remember what it is called.

Some of the lyrics go like either, "pieces apart" or "leave the pieces"

Please help me!!

Maybe "I'm torn in pieces"? That's big machine...not sure if that's what song you're lookin' for tho..

I can't think of it either but "leave the pieces" reminds me of a song by Michelle Branch's new band.

Could it be Slide? It kinda sounds like he is saying "leave the pieces" when he says "little pieces"

from Big Machine?

That's all I can think it could be if it's not Slide.

It probably is Slide. That song is on the radio a lot, and hte lyric "little pieces" could probably sound like "leave the pieces." I reccommend you should try looking on iTines or something and search for Slide or Big Machine and listen to the clips to see if you recognize them.
