Hi Y'all!
Just noticed that according to Pollstar the Goos will be playing Freedom Weekend Aloft in Simpsonville, SC. �I don't live too far from there �;) so if I can help anybody out with information about the area - just post your questions and I'll see if I can help.

The festival's website is:

Although I've been to many FWA festivals in the past, this will be the first year it will be held at Heritage Park, so I might not can answer all your questions. �:D

But I'm very glad to have the Goos back in SC!!! �;D ;D ;D

Awww, I wish you were coming down for the show. I miss you, AllThatGoo, and Rzeznik's Angel. Hopefully PMB will finish their new cd soon and we can all meet up at one of their shows!!! Are you going to that Wolftrap show? That's a VERY tempting lineup. ;)

FYI -

Earlier I posted that Chris Sligh and his Half Past Forever band would be appearing at Freedom Weekend Aloft after FWA announced it in a press release on their website. Unfortunately I found out tonight that most likely due to "contractual obligations" Chris will not be able to appear at Freedom Weekend. :(

In the Friday, May 18th, Greenville News there is a special section today - a Freedom Weekend Aloft guide - with a schedule of events, event details, balloon participants, �and a site map. �:thumbsup:

There will also be FWA Information in the May 22, LINK, (a free publication by the Greenville News which is available at 1,200+ locations in the Upstate). :thumbsup:
