Title: Daily Show
Post by The Cerulean O on Jan 5th, 2007, 2:11pm
Does anyone have video of the Goo appearance on Jon Stewart? I've looked everywhere, youtube, iTunes, the Daily Show website, google... I can't find it...
If anyone can give it to me, I will love them forever and a day.
That last day'll be extra special.

You're welcome!  You were smart to offer love and not your soul or to be an eternal servant.  A lot of people have made those promises to me and they're gonna be pissed when I tell them it's their time to hand over their souls.

And, to completely destroy this topic now that the initial request is fullfilled, cats for everyone!

I don't know how in my many years as a fan that I missed this. John and Robby are so funny...especially when they're on a roll. That's got to be one of the funniest interviews. Thanks for posting that Nicole.

The Goos used to be hilarious.  There are interviews from 98-00 that have made me laugh so hard I cried.  I haven't decided if I miss the hilarity or the good music more.  :-/

The 99 Daily Show featured the John and Robby just coming from the MTV studios.  They had raided the snack cupboard and brought Jon Stewart handfuls of oreos and fig newtons and he told John he was like his grandmother.  There was also talk about Kathy Lee and how she drinks the blood of puppies and them proclaiming Mike the swag **** of the group.

*That was an awesome day of Goo... Regis and Kathy Lee, TRL, and Daily Show all in one day. :D

*le bump of questioning*
Well? Cuz I'll...Uhm...Well, you're right, I'm not offering you my soul...I play enough D&D to know how bad a plan that is... But I will give you....A picture....of....a....uhm...moose.
I dunno, I'm running out of things to show my graditude.
But yes, you will recieve a photograph of a moose from me if you have the '99 show, and can youtube it for me.
And I'd tell you you rocked again.

Yes, back in the olden days, when they were young.
I think now that everything is all about maturity & all that fun stuff, they don't want to cause us any undue hilarity, lest we laugh and get crowsfeet (wrinkles around our eyes).

I discovered a tiny tiny little wrinkle under one eye about 2 months ago.  It is not a laughter wrinkle.  It is an Analysis wrinkle.  I need a laughter wrinkle to balance it out so they can start being funny any time now.

Hmmm...an analysis wrinkle. Very logical...
Aahhh, stick a teabag on it. And watch Jon Stewart. He's good for laughs. Maybe we should petition Jon to have the Goos back for a visit to The Daily Show. To balance out your wrinkles.

PS: I remember seeing that interview that Jon Stewart did with the Goos where they brought the snacks. I remember them dumping the snacks on Jon's desk. I think it may be on one of Ragdoll's video compilation tapes.

You have failed to answer my question.
Do you or do you not have the 99 episode, redo?
