I've been playing with the background colors a bit today. Does everyone like the deep red(like it is now) or the black better? I'm just trying to do something a bit different.

I like the red, it's different and not too dark, but black looks good too...

This red brings a bit of colour to the board.

Yes....that's what I was trying to do. I like keeping the background dark and the text area light with black text...it's easier to read. But it also limits my background choices. So I was just trying to add some color and make it feel fresh and new without completely redoing the entire skin.

It was time to rotate our 3rd place banner winner into the rotation. Again...nice job Melissa. If I remember right, Melissa told me that she took that picture at a show.....way cool.

I love the dark red background too. It reminds me of the GF album cover. I forgot to mention I really liked what you did for Christmas and New Years, too!  :thumbsup: The hats were so clever...

Thank you for the nice comments everyone. I WISH I had taken that photo. I actually took the pic of Mike when I met him a while back (prior to meet n' greets) in a different banner I made.  :-* Don't want to take credit I don't deserve...

I remember you had said you'd taken the picture of Mike. I'd just forgotten it was in the other banner you submitted. �I'll leave this banner up a couple months to give it it's fair due as a winner then I'll rotate the other submissions monthly. When I run out of banners we'll do anther contest.
