Has everyone been requesting LLI on their local radio stations? I just put a bunch of email requests in today. If I had SWAG I'd run a contest but since I don't let's just do it for the guys and push this song to #1.

Yesterday I was listening to 89X....(Yes Lauren 89X), an alternative, very rock station here in the Detroit/Windsor area. And they played LLI. I was shocked :o They haven't played any new Goo on this station since Big Machine. So lets make those requests and get as many stations to play this as possible.

I'm trynna get UK radio stations to play it but I cant find anything on the website that allows you to recommend a song they should play... maybe being blind, but yeah still looking though!

I just changed to a new radio station. For the past few years I have been listening to a country station, but now I'm listening to a rock station that plays the 80s, 90s, and current hits. This includes Goo Goo Dolls and Bon Jovi so I'm happy!

89X??? Wow, they played Iris the other day when I  was going to a funeral home. As odd as that sounds. My sister and I just gave each other shocked looks.

Hysteria, not to put a downer on your trying to get LLI played over here - by all means, go for it!! :thumbsup: But considering they only released Stay With you last week, I'd suggest you request that on our radio stations and we can try and get its airplay up!!

If LLI does well here (#39 at the mo!!) then WB may be inclined to release more singles (ie. LLI) later on, rather than giving up like they did after Here Is Gone flopped from Gutterflower... :-/

That said, I'll still request LLI for American music stations - I hope it gets tons of airplay!!  ;D

If you request via email, contact Vince Canova for the 5:00 all request hour...that's where I heard it twice now. He played it for me Friday. I asked Holly to play it and she said it hasn't officially been added yet. But if we keep asking Vince to play it I could see it getting added as he's the PM.

SHANNON! SHANNON! I EMAILED MY REQUEST AND IT WAS THE SECOND SONG THEY PLAYED!!!!

Now my sister is whistling it. HAHA.

The first song they played was Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional, then I was like, they've gotta play it, as soon as I heard the beginning I just about, okay, I screamed! I was so excited!!  :eek:

FANTASTIC!!!!! I forgot to turn it on at 5pm. I'll request it tomorrow. Between the two of us we'll keep him playing it for awhile  ;D

After I wrote this, I came downstairs and my sisters boyfriend was listening to it in the shower and he said they mentioned my name too, for who the song was for.

I just about died!!! This is awesome!! :D:D:D!!!

I don't know if you get 96.3 on your side of the lake but that's a very Goo friendly station. They played LLI for me last week a couple times. The DJ even commented how much he likes the new song.

Yeah! I get that station! The New 96.3 WDVD. They don't play that 'rap crap'. HAHAHA.

Do they take requests a certain hour of the day as well?

They take requests ALL day. LLI is already part of their playlist so they'll play it for you whenever. I used to email Allyson but she's part of the morning show now. I think Jesse is her afternoon replacement. The best time to email them is right before they come in for the day. That way they have time to fit your request in between the ones already programmed in. And, they always say who the request is for.

HAHA! That's awesome Shannon. I'm gonna start emailing requests in as well. It was just exciting to hear a song  that I requested on the radio!!
