hey i was listening to Virgin last night and i think its Ben Jones? who does the evening show, anyway he said hes got a new live session from the goo goo dolls next thurdsday 26th with an interview. hopefully they'll play some stuff off LLI this time.i tried looking on their website but my computers being really slow today. also i heard them play iris last night and then twice again today!

Might be worth listening tonight too just in case as a friend of ours just heard "Thursday" mentioned so we're not sure which Thursday they mean! lol

Did anybody catch it last night?

The guys were on from about 9pm ish UK time, had a good old chat and performed Stay With You and Iris. The radio station made it sound like it was live in the studio but it was actually recorded last Monday! lol

The guys spoke about how they've seen a lot more of the UK this time, how much fun they had in Manchester & Cambridge (said about getting hit by bicycles again!) and how they love London as it's like a cross between LA & NY. They said they love singing Iris here as everyone sings every word, and that everyone knew every word of every song! They said the UK seemed to be full of HUGE music fans. They spoke about how things were starting to happen for them over here and they joked it was probably due to everyone trying to download the Ronan Keating version of Iris and getting theirs by mistake! The DJ asked what they thought of Ronan's version and John tried not to answer at first , but then said he thought it was a little flat and lacked passion. (understatement! lol) DJ told them Iris is still one of the most requested tracks on Virgin radio.

The DJ was wrapping up ready to introduce them singing and John said just one thing... and thanked everyone who came to see them at the shows for being amazing and for making them feel so welcome.

If anyone else caught it perhaps they can add the bits we missed!

Very cool. Thanks so much for giving us all a summary. I'm so glad they've had such a welcome response in the UK. They must be so proud.
