Title: Re: Tour Dates on GGD site Post by gutterdog on Mar 20th, 2006, 9:47pm Here's what I found so far: Goos To Perform At E. Tennessee State University Just when students are about to get tired of those e-mail updates, the SGA finally booked the Goo Goo Dolls to perform at the spring concert in the Mini-Dome. The concert, scheduled for April 22, at 7 p.m. will also feature a surprise guest artist. "We were getting scared," admitted JR Husmillo, SGA president, when asked about the late announcement and the fact that the Goo Goo Dolls were 12th on a list of 14. The organization is proud however for striking a deal with the Goo Goo Dolls after much deliberation and disappointment from other bands on the student generated list. With the $100,000 price tag the group promises a longer performance than last semester's Ludacris event which was $15,000 less. The dome will also be open to 8,300 students, approximately 3,300 more than last semester. Students will be seated on both sides of the Dome and on the floor. Let Love In is the name of the eighth album about to be released by the band that started out as a Buffalo, N.Y., punk band calling themselves Sex Maggots. The 11-track album can be picked up on April 25th; the current single, "Better Days" is available on iTunes. |

Title: Re: Tour Dates on GGD site Post by killernj13 on Mar 22nd, 2006, 11:56am Sat. May 13, 2006 Sand Bar Doors: 8:00pm, Showtime: 9:00pm Tickets On-Sale: 4/8/06 10:00am $69.95 & $149.50 plus tax General Admission MUST BE 21 OR OLDER NO EXCEPTIONS! CLICK HERE TO ORDER TICKETS ONLINE Tickets may also be purchased by calling 547-5300 for Las Vegas residents or (866) 264-1818 for guests outside of the Las Vegas area, or at all Station Casinos Rewards Centers, Fiesta Front Desks and The Galleria Mall. Does anyone have any info on this place - IE. seating chart, capacity etc?? Also, $150 a ticket?? WTF? I could see paying that for NYE but a normal concert at that price is a little steep. What could the difference be between the ticket prices be if it is general admission? |

Title: Re: Tour Dates on GGD site Post by THE sLaVe GiRl on Mar 22nd, 2006, 1:58pm It's a REALLY new place...the casino itself either just opened or is about to open. My friend said that he got to go there for dinner the other night, but it was for one of those "let the staff practice running the restaurant" dinners, before a place opens. He said it's pretty nice...which might be what the prices are about. Yeah...I was a little chagrined to find out the costs, too. Especially since I thought we were getting ours for free. However, my friend's cousin is NOT like Pedro's, and has NO sweet hook-ups. *sigh* If I wasn't so lazy I would go back and take off those dancing nanners. |
