I just was thinking, and John is really good for writing songs, and there are always a few lines in each song that stand out more than any others. Here are some of mine:
Sympathy - I wasn't all the things I tried to make believe I was
Here is Gone - All your lies weren't enough to keep me here
It's Over - No one can believe in things that never change
Name - Don't it make you sad to know that life, is more than who we are
Without you Here - Love could heal the pain, the truth is never vain, it turns strangers into lovers, and enemies to brothers, Just say you understand.. I never had this planned
Feel the Silence - When your fighting the current you forget how to live
Truth is a whisper - It's just a promise no one ever keeps
Acoustic #3 - Your mother loves your father, cause she's got know where to go
That is just off the top of my head. I will go through my playlist and name some more. I would like to say, for the record, that my favorite line from Iris is "When everythings made to be broken".
Also, my favorite lyrics John has ever written are probably "Always Know Where You Are" - not a goo song, but those lyrics are phenomonal. I love them all, they all stand out.
How about everyone else?

Shannon, I love that line aswell. There are soo many good ones in Name, its a really great song, written well. Th guitar tuning is also beautiful.

Good picks! John is good at really clever lyrics I find. I listen to songs by other people, and the lyrics are really good, but I find that they wouldn't be that hard to come up with, while Johns are emotional, relatable (sp?), and intelligent.
