It's not really that random. The Goos supported the Democratic party pretty vocally for the 2000 and 2004 elections and played benefits.
My only questions are:
- Why is Hillary using a male performer when this benefit is apparently about getting women involved? Are we supposed to assume that women will find John(ny) dreamy, and that will be the reason they will get involved and, ideally, vote for Hillary?
- Why is Hillary not, you know, being a senator? And, you know, hanging out in the state she is senator of?
- What is John going to be doing, exactly?
