| Yeah my Christmas was nice with family and such. I'm a bit sad it's over now, but you know, it's only another 360+ days until it happens again.

| 360+ days is good for me. I'm exhausted. I started cooking and baking last Saturday and did that for 3 days and then had to clean the house for all the guests. That's A LOT of work. I did absolutely nothing yesterday. I didn't even get dressed. The house is still chaotic with everyone's gifts lying around but I just didn't care yesterday. I was exhausted.

My Christmas was pretty low-key. Not a lot of gifting, just a little. I can't wait to take down the Christmas tree because it takes up all the space in my living room and when I unplug the lights, it makes the electrical outlet spark. That makes me paranoid. But I know the tree will remain standing until New Year's, like always. Today we went through the house looking for stuff we don't need, to donate to the Goodwill. Limited amount of space, unlimited amount of junk. I can't believe all the weird collections of stuff I have packed away: Star Trek, Star Wars, Bon Jovi, Goo. I oughtta have a tag sale.

| Yeah, because just what we need in our house is another poster! Whenever I miss "Steve", I just click on the link below in my siggie, and there he is, being all "Steve-ey". Old habits die hard.

A belated XMAS to everyone. We had a really nice time this year. It was a little quieter than usually due to some illnesses with close family and friends. But I think b/c of that, everyone was happy just to be able to get together. Hey is this thread getting r e a l l y s l o w or is it my computer?

It's definitely slow. I can't even load it from my phone. What is the page limit ... 150? We're almost there. Everyone needs to start posting again and we'll reach our goal faster. So what is everyone's New Years plans? We're headed to some friends who do a huge New Year's party every year. The nice thing is that it's friends from the kids' school so kids are invited. It's so hard to find a sitter on NYE.

| I SO remember this....and I'm just throwing this out there....2006 is now THREE, I repeat THREE years ago! Anyone starting to feel old? Cause I sure am. Oh and my holidays were great thanks, low key as well. I worked on Christmas Day, yes three of the Starbucks' in Windsor were open on a volunteer basis. It was really busy. I went to my grandparents after to celebrate Christmas with them. New Years was a spectacle. Shannon you would be proud, after we toasted to New Years at a house party I knew nobody at, the friend I had gone with, I went out with his friend to 'Tim Hortons' and spend several hours talking....at Tim Hortons...just clarifying that with everyone. I got Shift Supervisor position at my store, I start training on January 12th. That's an update in the life of laurengoo I miss all you guys!
