how was everybody's summer??  can you believe it's september already? Shocked

Hey there  My summer was busy but nice and quiet and it went by too fast. My kids are back in school so the house is quiet again but now I'm back to schedules and running. :/

How about you? Where have you been hiding? It's good to see you back here.

I'm good.  I was actually working full time over the summer right up until the end of last week so there wasn't really any time for me to really do much of anything. Sad  Oh well, I'm back at school now so I'll hopefully have more free time.

*sigh* You're so right. Now that I'm working, I don't have as much free time as I used to.  Sad

My old laptop is on the verge of self destructing and I haven't transfered all my music to my new laptop so i don't know what my play counts are.... but i've probably only listened to Real once or twice.

Call me really old fashioned but despite having iTunes I never listen to it. I'm still stuck on CDs. I do listen to music on my iPhone but I don't think it takes a count and gives it back to iTunes. So although I love your poll Drew, I have no data to participate ... LOL

Call me really old-fashioned, but I don't own an iAnything...how do I exist? CDs and radio.

Well I'm glad to have company in the really old category then. I listen to CDs and the radio too. And, occasionally I turn the iPod on on my iPhone. But seriously ... the iPhone is my first iPod  Grin  I use iTunes to sync my phone and that's about it. I don't usually buy music from iTunes either. I still like a CD in my hand. I enjoy reading through the booklet. I am old!

I guess I've been through every incarnation of music from 45s to LPs to 8-tracks to cassettes, CDs. By that point I said, heck with this, I'm not spending more $$ on the next new thing unless I have to, for lack of a choice.

Funny thing...as we speak, my son is listening to my Led Zeppelin LPs on his sister's turntable. He wants to transfer the songs to his MP3 player.

Ha! When you get so old you have to squint to read the small writing in the CD inserts, you'll wish you had the LP version to look at.

 Wink

...although today I was in the store and saw one of those kooky calculators that are ginormous with the bigass numbers and thought, wow...who the heck would want to use one of those? Someone who can't read the really small numbers on a normal calculator, silly!
