So, this big free summer concert series that used to be held somewhere else is being moved to the (small) city I live in this year. It's basically going to be a huge trainwreck because it's being held in a very small parking lot and it is estimated that many many thousands of people will come. Plus the cops will be ticketing everything and anything and there is a not so nice area of the city pretty close by. I'm pretty excited because I'm going to have someone drop me off for one of the concerts so that I can watch the madness happen. Anyways... they announced the concert line up this past week and I ran across this while reading the paper (from yesterday) today. "Also known to be booked as an opening act for REO Speedwagon is the band Tres Bien, which played on the FOX TV reality show “The Next Great American Band.” The band finished in sixth place on the show. Lead guitarist Michael Crowe, who has family in Lockport, said the band is really looking forward to playing an outdoor show. “Anytime you play outdoors it is a big deal,” he said. “It will be a big audience and great exposure.” Crowe said the band really hasn’t played a show this big, except for one in Detroit, and of course the TV show. “It was a lot of fun and a great experience. We learned a lot,” Crowe said. “Not many people have the chance to be on national TV for eight weeks straight.”" I just thought it was kind of funny to come across Tres Bien/NGAB without looking. Seeing as it's close to Buffalo, I'm pretty surprised there was no mention of John/GGD.

Heh. Buffalo finally has street view. I'm a little sad it missed my 'neck of the woods' by about 3 miles, but it covers most of the Goo interest points.

Saving fav. song sounds like a good idea. How about fav. duet? Not too many options, though. Or fav. performance from LiB?

I was going to suggest favorite live song, but that might actually require a lot of work since not everyone has heard a wide array of songs live... Favorite album or favorite song off an album would be cool. It might make more sense to do that elimination style rather than one on one competition though.

No, I meant do it as "here's the list of all of the songs on said album, pick which one you want to kick off". But I really have no idea of the best way to do it... You're the competition master.

So, I was just spending some time seeing if there was a way to buy from UK iTunes in the US and I stumbled across this: Are the UK standards of 'explicit' different than the US or is this just a mistake? I mean, the Better Days video is creepy, but...

| LOL ... I think they just made a mistake ... that or we both somehow missed all the expletives in their songs.
