Oh and this time I've checked ahead of time to make sure it records the audio okay without some sort of random distortion to it.

Thanks for the answers, I bid 15 euros (about $22) for now but I might go a little higher. I saw the album on sale for $150 at some website, outragious price. 
I read today that of the first album, 8000 copies where made but no idea of they mean cds, LPs or both.
About the V festival broadcast, I just bought a new pc this week so I don't have all my software installed yet, but if I manage to get the right software running before tomorrow mid day (i'm english time +1), I'll try and record the show.
Unfortunatly I don't have satelite tv so it will be web quality.

They broadcasted live songs from almost every band throughout the day, but not the goo's! While they where performing it was only normal top40 songs and some blabla from the studio.
