I keep reading how awesome Heath is in this role. People magazine gave the movie 4 stars and they're usually harsh. EDIT: Nicole....now that you've seen it. Would you say it's appropriate or not for an 8 year old? Is it too scary/dark? My son is dying to see it but I won't let him until I know more about it from people who've seen it.

The Joker was certainly the best part. Heath Ledger was amazing in it. If the Joker appears in the next movie, there's no way the new one could live up to this one. |
| I agree. Heath Ledger did an amazing job portraying the Joker, right down to the signature blood-curdling laugh. And I think I need to watch the movie again, since I somehow missed seeing Robin in it.
