GGD recorded song for Spider-Man 3!

Downtown dish
When "Spider-Man 3" -- starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and Topher Grace -- hits theaters May 4, listen carefully: There's a Louisville link.
The Goo Goo Dolls recently recorded a song for inclusion in the film at Downtown Recording, 515 S. Fourth St.
That same night, Downtown's Brian Haulter was in Lexington, recording an Apples in Stereo performance for their upcoming DVD release.
The Dolls found Downtown after their engineer peeped the two-story studio across the street from the window of his room at the Seelbach Hilton.
"They were here all night," said Nick Stevens, who co-owns Downtown with Mark Noderer. "(Johnny Rzeznik) loved the room, loved the equipment."

No kidding. My son loves Spidey but this just gives me extra incentive. And, I can hear this song being super edgy like I'm Awake Now or Lazy Eye. Spidey just isn't a ballad type movie. OOOhhhhh I'm so excited by this.
I should mention that this hasn't been officially confirmed by the band or their management. So we don't really know for sure in what capacity the song will be used. I guess we wait and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

I hate me some Superhero movies, but I think it's damn good to be on a soundtrack of one of the biggest movies of the summer. Even more excited that there's new non-LLI music potentially coming soon.

I do remember that. I'm trying to forget though. I'm so hoping for a good rock song.
But either way this will be so good for them. Look how it catapulted Chad Kroeger.
