OK, so.. here we go...  oh! and if anyone has a picture of the red undies, please post ok? Thank you!

OMG, no, there is no internet up on cloud 9! LOL

I'm finally feeling somewhat but not really normal again. LOL

My brain is a complete mess right now. I'll try to remember what went on. Between a gazillion loans here at work, and trying to copy paste this correctly so I don't have to retype ....

My friend Erin and I arrive at the fair grounds around 3pm and just goof around trying to stay somewhat cool. VERY difficult considering it was 88 degrees and 94% humidity! We both agreed that we were going to smell horrible at the end of the night and I think we both did! LOL

We checked in at the box office, tickets wouldn't be ready until 5pm. So this is where we goofed around. Then tried to get tickets at 5. No luck, come back at 5:15. I don't think we got our tickets until 5:30. They gave me the tickets but no information on the meet 'n greet. I was trying very hard not to freak out and no think they forgot me! LOL

Erin whacked me a few times with a 1/2 empty water bottle! THAT HURT!! lol She tried to keep me in check so I wouldn't hyperventilate.  She did a really great job! LOL

FINALLY, around 6pm they had the meet 'n greet stuff. By then, Erin was waiting in a different line for the early entry. Fan club tickets got early entry.. though it probably wasn't all THAT early. At one point I ran down this tunnel and said, "Erin, I smell, spray me!" I think everyone got a laugh out of that one! LOL She had to spray the stuff because I was shaking too much. She tried to punch me but I hopped out of the way and ran back up to where the meet 'n greet people were. There were 15 (though it sure seemed more like 40! LOL) of us from Inner Machine (fan club).

First though, they took the radio contest winners. I think there was 40 there! We waited and waited... 6:15 passed by and still no word, no security, nothing. I had to sit down. I was sweating like a pig! disgusting! lol

FINALLY! security came and got us. We headed one way and then made a loop because he changed his mind on how to get us to the gate. As I head outside with the group, we're having to nearly run. On purpose, I wanted to be last, and I was!!

We headed back stage and I thought we were going under the stage. I see Robby and lost my breath, and about 30 seconds later, there was John. I definately lost my breath then!! lol

They disappeared for a bit, maybe a minute, then came back out. Mike V. the guys (specifically John's) bodyguard was yelling at us, "No personal cameras, no autographs" and was making the mean face! LOL I soooo wanted to take a photo of just the backstage set up but was deathly afraid of getting kicked out!

Anyway, they start taking photos. Everyone's was so fast. Seriously, I bet it was no longer than 10 seconds. We were supposed to go 2 by 2, but in the end, Linda (she was my pseudo Erin and kept telling me to breath) and a couple of other girls all ended up together.

went up to Robby and my hands were shaking VERY hard (like when meeting the guys of Bon Jovi) and I asked, "Robby, remember how nervous you were when you wanted to meet Ed (actor from the 70's)?"

He said, "Awwwww, c'mere!" and pulled me into this gigantic 5 second hug! I know it was 5 seconds because all I could do was count thousand-one, thousand-two etc etc! Then the photographer was wanting us to do the
photo.

I said, "Look John" (DORK moment! lol) and he saw me shaking. He swooped me under his arm and I was so busy looking at his face and noticed all the whiskers and OMG, some of them were *gasp* grey! LOL

Man his eyes are so very blue too! holy sh!t! LOL Anyway, photographer lady says, "Hey, I need you to look this way" and I was. "oh f*ck!' and John laughed. I have no idea what my expression will be like in the photo. (ok, I do now, but I can't post the photo yet until I edit it! LOL)

Then... OMG *feeling faint* I asked, "John, can I give you a kiss on the cheek" and he said something but I didn't understand but I did understand what he said next, "here" and grabbed my head with both of his hands, and pulled me in and he kissed me on both cheeks and I got a hug! EEEE! lol

Then the security guards were saying, "come on, we need to move along" and I reached out to Robby (STILL shaking) and said, "THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH" and he reached out and touched my fingertips. Then I said the same thing to John and waved good bye. I made a comment about, "I'm sorry we missed Mike!" and John ran his hand thru his hair and said, "I know" and shrugged his shoulders.

It probably was 20 seconds. Then I had to go find Erin.....thank god she texted me and said, "come to robbys side" LOL I had to make my way thru the crowd who was NOT very nice LOL Finally, started yelling, ERIN! ERIN! ERIN! and she turned around and I made my way up to FRONT ROW!!!!

We were in front of Robby! Best view! woot woot! then.... it started to rain. Not a light rain either but not a downpour. Just a nice rain. Which made us look horrible! LOL I'm sure my hair was sticking up everywhere as that's what it tends to do. We got busy and started blowing up black balloons once the rain stopped and connected them to the fence/railing.

THEN... Elliot someone sang a few songs accoustically, and then OMG wooohooo! Goo came on stage! YEAY!

Last night's concert was absolutely the BEST! The guys were so interactive! John was showing all the "fair food" such as fried snickers candy bar, fried twinkies and then. egg on a stick! LOL he was throwing stuff out into the audience. I woudl have hated to be hit with that egg (hard boiled) on a stick! He held it up and said, "This is just wrong, it's not even fried!" lol

Erin kept asking me, "should I throw it? should I throw it?" meaning the underwear we bought that was 2XX and sexy red satin! LOL We couldn't decided for a long time what to write on it, but we finally decided what to write.

Erin finally thru the underwear up on stage. John didn't pick it up right away, but when he did, he read it out loud, "Wanna Trade?" and then showed the audience, and then turned with his butt facing the audience and held them up to his butt and I think he wiggled.. maybe. I dunno, I was freaking out and then John noticed us and pointed to us..

"You girls are baaa-aad" and we freaked out and were high-fiving! LOL The most awesome thing ever (aside from the meet 'n greet)!!!! WE EVEN MADE THE SPRINGFIELD NEWSPAPER! ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!! The State Journal. So freaking cool!! LOL The reporter mentioned the underwear and what they read in his news article bah-hahaha!

Ha ha, I loved your review.  Thanks for sharing.

I want to know how John got all of the fried stuff he brought on stage.  Like, did he wander around the fair collecting fried food to share with everyone?  Or did someone just bring a box of fried food to their dressing room?  Because it's weird either way.

I LOVE that you're being vulgar...how fun!

You weren't kidding when you said you were right up front. You looked like you both were having a blast. I love the panties idea. That's great that you were able to get them onstage.

LOL we figured that everyone always threw huge bras up there, or those teeny tiny thongs, so we went big LOL

I think at the next show (which will probably be next year) and make a sign that says "wanna trade?" and hopefully he'll remember!
