i cant help but wonder if the goo's will decide to debut 'better days' next week at the benefit concert. if you listen to the words in the chorus, they seem to definitly apply to the situation at hand.....
....the chance that maybe we'll find better days
So take these words, and scream out loud
cuz everyone, is forgiving now
cuz tonights the night the world begins again....

I would be doubtful of this happening. Using a disaster to preview their new single is not in the best of taste.

i don't think it would be in bad taste at all if they decided to sing this song. at this point no one knows if they will or not, it's all specualtion. and if they did, i think Goo, meaning all three of the guys, are not the type to sit around a table thinking, "let's use this time to promote our song and make lots of money." they all have hearts, if they did sing it, it would be out of compassion for the relief victims. give 'em a little hope that while things are sad and bleak now, there will be better days in the future. . .

I see it both ways.Yes,it's very appropriate.But if they did play it people may think they're playing it to promote the new single,even though they may not mean it that way.It has it's pros and cons.I know we're all a little anxious for the new single but I wouldn't want people thinking them to be heartless because they supposedly promoted a new single at a charity benift.But this is just the way I see it!
If they play "Better Days" that's fine with me,if they play "Give A Little Bit" that's also fine with me.I meant no harm in my post.
