new single news!

I found this on AG's site and since there's been so much confusion about the new single and a possible Christmas song I thought I'd post the info here too...........
There have been a lot of questions lately about whether the song "Better Days" is the Christmas song, or whether there are, in fact, 2 new songs. I got some information yesterday directly from Warner Bros.
The song "better days" is NOT currently shceduled to be on the new goo album. It was recorded specifically for the Target Holiday CD. It will be released as a single off this CD, with a video. If the song does real well, it is possible that it will end up on the new album, but that will be a last minute decision. Although Warner Bros were told intitially that the band will finish the new album this fall, it looks like it will take them longer to do so. Therefore, the release is not likely to be before next spring, at the earliest. Before the new album somes out, a song off of it will be released as a single.

Thanks cuz i have been hearing all kinds of stuff about it and i didn't know what was true!!! So thanks for clearing that up!!! I had no idea it was a chritmas song till about yesterday!!!!! I just can't stop listening to it!!!!!

Target is a store here in the States. So it will be a CD of music .... probably holiday/giving themed ... that will only be sold at Target stores or target.com.

Well, that clears it up! Thanks. Not happy it's taking so long, but at least they aren't leaving us high and dry, we've had a couple little fixes to keep us going.
