Yeah I know about the Offspring... I have IXNAY ON
THE HOMBRE, which is an excellent album...
AMERICANA is pretty cool for people who don't
know what they used to sound like or what punk
rock is supposed to sound like...
3EB is a really great band... yeah they're kinda
poppish I guess, but they're great... not really
hardcore or anything but I love their lyrics...
you should really give them a good listen, I'm
pretty sure you'll like them.
As for Issues... eh... hmm...
I'm not a huge KoRn fan myself, but I do really
really like some of their songs. I'm going to
give you what I've observed from a few of my
friends.
If you've been following KoRn since the beginning,
chances are you will be disappointed with
ISSUES... if you just started listening to them
recently, however, you'll probably like it a lot.
I have heard 4 songs from it so far: "Falling
Away From Me" and "Let's Get This Party Started",
which I find very good, and "Dirty" and one other
song... which I can't remember the name of...
didn't like those too much...
I don't approve of KoRn's choice for the cover
contest winner either... I think all 3 of the
runners-up are better than the winner...
Okay... another question... what's your opinion of
Incubus? I've just started listening to them
these past few days and they sound pretty damned
cool... kinda rapcore but not quite... maybe...
industrial popcore? (not popcorn...)
Also, what do you think of Radiohead? The friend
who got me started on Smashing Pumpkins wants me
to listen to Radiohead... I told him I probably
couldn't, because they seem to be the only other
band as artful as SP... and to listen to them I'd
have to get out of SP mode, which would screw up
everything...
