Being a canadian I was once proud of Shania and
her music! But Shania has proven time and time
again that she has FORGOTTEN where she comes
from.
She seems to have no problems showing her face at
all the American Music Awards whether she is
nominated or not but does she bother to show up
to Canadian Awards -- of course not!
When asked about how she felt about winning the
Entertainer of the Year at the 1999 Canadian
Country Music Awards, Shania's response was "Oh,
was that last night?" (for those who don't know -
Shania was at her home in Switzerland "resting"
but just one week later she showed up to the CMA
Awards)
I am more then proud to say that at the 2000
CCMA's Shania was booed each and everytime her
name was mentioned and she didn't win anything!
All american's see of Shania is her "Stage Side".
Canadian's have seen her real side -- the one
without any class at all!
