Speaking as a Native American, guns are a
necessary evil. That is if you believe in true
evil. To defend yourself is a Right our blood
has earned in this country. If my ancestors had
invented gunpowder you can bet those puritans
would have been killed in merry ole England. I
am proud to say, actually type, that I have a
pistol of my own. I haven't any fears in using
it either. Not to sound like an NRAer, but in a
capitalistic society a woman must protect herself
and those children the socialists in Canada hold
so dear. We may have a higher crime rate, but I
can choose my own doctor or mid-wife, the school
my child attends or doesn't attend
(home-schooling). I am not one of those right
wing Republicans. But, the right to bear arms is
dear to my heart. If one is an American, one
should and take pride in it.
