My friend got free tickets so we went. Seven Mary
Three sucked as did Train. Boring as hell. The
music inbetween bands was really good. They
played achtung baby U2. A couple Verve tracks and
I heard Oasis "Hey Now" and the lead act always
chooses the music for that. Anyways, I thouht
MB20 were really good. They had that really long
jam of black and white people which showed that
actually had muscianship and Remedy was done very
well. Some songs I didnt like because I never
liked them in the first place originally. Pretty
much all the songs from the first album that they
played I hated because I hate that album but the
songs from mad season were great. Crutch was
great as was angry and Rest Stop was exceptional.
Last Beautiful Girl (my favorite song by MB20)
was the best probably because its my favorite
song by them. Rob also said that will be their
next single. Its about fucken time. The video
for that should be awsome. I got so angry when
they released "When your gone" as the 2nd single
instead of "last beautiful girl". When your gone
is a shitty song. Its a total bore. Anyways,
THey also covered the beatles "Dont Let Me Down"
at the show which was really nice. but all it
all they were very good. They suprised me
because I never knew that they were that talented
until seeing them live. From the 2nd album I
knew Rob was a very good songwriter but that was
as far as it went for me. I will defintly see
them again if they come around. By the way, I
dont like the video for "mad season" although
that song has a great chorus line and I love the
way in the last chorus line he says "Im a child
and Im hopeless". Alright man. get back to me.
