I wrote yesterday that the song "Together" doesn't
exists.
You didn't believe me so I will tell you the whole
story about the song.
It all started when NME wrote that "Songbird"
would be Oasis new single. A few days later Noel
said in an interview that the song sounds like
shit and it will not be on the new album.
That made me angry. Journalists write whatever
they want. They don't care if it's true or not. I
wanted to test the media so I started a romour on
the internet coz I wanted to see if the media
would follow.
So I made up the song "Together". I wrote a
message about the song on this messageforum and
said that I had read an interview with Noel in
"The Sun" about the song. I knew that if I didn't
had a source noone would believe me. I also
thought that there was a small chance that anyone
would buy the newspaper and check it up. Well.
Nobody did!
In the false interview Noel said that "Together"
is the best song he has written since "Live
Forever" and that it was about his hard days with
Meg.
What I didn't think of at the time was that Noel
previosly had mentioned in an interview that he
will not write any songs about his miserable
marriage with Meg for the new album. Some of you
guys said that when I wrote my first message
about the song.
So I wrote a second and final message about the
song. This time my source was a magazine. I wrote
down a long interview and at the end Noel says
that his favourite from the new alnbum is
"Together" and that this song is Andys favourite
too. He also said that he first didn't want to to
write any songs about his marriage but that he
later on just had too.
