I really enjoyed the anthology on Renaissance. I
was disappointed to not find two particular
tracks there, however. I believe that Jody sang
the title song from the 1965 teen flick A
SWINGIN' SUMMER. The Hanna-Barbera LP offered
the song, but the album version was performed by
Carol Connors. The only way to hear Jody's
version is to find the film (no easy task,
although it was once on homevideo), so I wish
that Renaissance had included it. The other track
was from the early seventies, "Take Time to Know
Him". I heard it on television while traveling
in Great Falls, Montana, on some country TV
program. It had a "funkier" sound than many of
Jody's other recordings, and I wish that it had
been included. Gee, maybe Renaissance can be
persuaded to release a volume two, and include
those two songs as well as other rarities. Now,
I'll yield the floor to someoone else!
